Geox are the shoes that breathe (they contain a breathable membrane in the soles which allows air to pass through whilst remaining completely waterproof). We took this truth and developed it into the creative proposition “Let Your Imagination Breathe”, encouraging children to dream big dreams with the help of Geox Kids.
VM created a content marketing campaign for Geox Kids that centred around physical and digital books designed to be enjoyed by parents and children together.
Renowned children’s author Dallas Clayton was commissioned to write three exclusive children’s storybooks that brought Geox shoes to life through the power of a child’s imagination.
The campaign covered online, social, mobile and in-store collateral and was supported with VM video to drive the campaign message to the target audience.
The Geox Kids Reading Programme has so far released 3 original titles, all written by renowned children’s author Dallas Clayton, distributed in Geox stores across Europe.
As part of the campaign we also held a book reading event in London’s Oxford Street store, flying Dallas over from California to read the stories to a select audience of 50 children and parents, including influential bloggers and press.
The event, which was fully branded with a custom set, entertainers and in-store activities, achieved a total reach of 670k through social channels, including over 350,000 people within the local London area and resulted in a 140% uplift in store footfall vs the same period in the previous year.
